TTI has released a range of mini serial attached SCSI (SAS) interconnects that support data transmission rates of 6 to 10Gbit/s in server and storage applications, doubling the capacity of first-generation SAS connectors. The miniSAS the SCSI interconnects are manufactured by the 3M Electronics Solutions Division.

The 0.8mm pitch board mount connector delivers increased I/O density with higher channel capabilities, but requires less PCB space than earlier solutions.
